Gilpin Geosciences, Inc. (GGI) has performed all levels of geologic investigations, including geologic hazard investigations, Alquist-Priolo earthquake fault investigations, slope stability investigations, and hydrogeologic investigations. Some of our recent projects include:

• Evaluations of landslide hazards for residential developments and commercial facilities throughout the greater San Francisco Bay area and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.
• A detailed engineering geologic investigation of a 1,000-acre development in Orinda, California that requires over 2.5 million yards of grading incorporating slope repair of extensive deep-seated and shallow landslides.
• Ongoing consultation for slope stability at active and historic quarry locations.
• An evaluation of rock slope hazards behind the New Industries Building on Alcatraz Island.
